My artwork takes a critical look at the impermanence of our possessions which includes the human form, the transitory state of the physical world, and the essence of interconnections. Much of my work contains the element of ritual: collecting/bundling of detritus, manipulating/dividing space, creating a sense of ceremony in my artwork arrangements/ performances, linking memory to universal themes- all dealing with transition in a ritualistic way. By taking an expository look at our transitions, we observe what we are carrying forward and what we are leaving behind.
